Over the years of practicing as a therapist, I have sought out the most effective and powerful tools to help clients.

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnotherapy, MAP (an immensely powerful tool for clearing negative emotions and beliefs), Emotional Freedom Technique and Integral Eye Movement Therapy. Each of these are proven effective psycho therapeutic approaches in their own right. When used together, treatment is even more effective and long-lasting.

My approach is:

  1. Future focused, so we don’t spend much time looking back into the past (unless there is a clear reason to do so). We focus on the beliefs, feelings and thoughts which are hindering you in the present. These are hard to identify by yourself as over the years they will have become automatic. Together, we can identify these thoughts, remove them and replace them with something far more positive. This enables change for the better across many areas of your life.

  2. To ensure that you have the skills, the resilience and the tools to change the way that you respond in the future. I want to help you improve your life as quickly as possible, so I ensure that you have tools to help calm your body and mind, helpful work to do between sessions and recordings that you can listen to.

All therapy is not the same! I will always be looking for underlying issues and clearing them, so that the coping behaviours which have developed a a result (overeating, drinking, skin picking etc) are not needed. If these underlying issues are not addressed, only a temporary fix is often acheived. .

I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy which is accredited by the British Psychological Society, the National Council for Hypnotherapy, the General Hypnotherapy Register and the Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.

I work online to give clients the best flexibility and help them heal in their own comfortable space.
